Takeaway with Wolt

Good morning my dear readers!! I hope that you’re doing well and that the week has been going well for you. I have completely packed week, lots of work but I ain’t complaining. 🙂 When I have a  busy week like this one, I usually don’t have time or energy to dedicate myself to cooking at home, so takeaway from a restaurant is the first solution that comes to my mind.

This was exactly the case yesterday… I had so much to do and was running around all over the city, by the time I had arrived back home, I was so hungry and needed my lunch immediately! 😀 I took my phone, opened a WOLT app and for the first time used their delivery service. I was so impressed how easy, user-friendly and professional was the experience was.

WOLT operates in three different cities in Finland ( Helsinki, Turku & Tampere ) as well as in Stockholm, Sweden. To enjoy the benefits of an easy order-in service on a busy scheduled day, all you have to do is to download the Wolt app to your smartphone ( iPhone and Android ), create your profile with an info of a delivery address, credit card information, pick a restaurant from the list of places that deliver to your area, build your order and go to the checkout.

Something that made me very excited about using Wolt was that the whole time they keep you informed by the notifications to your phone on when your oder has been accepted/ forwarded to the restaurant, when it’s ready and when it’s on it’s way to you. You can also keep an eye on the couriers the whole time to get an idea when your order will be delivered to you.

All of the orders are processed right away and it usually takes about 30 minutes for an order to be delivered to you. Amazing part of using the Wolt app is that you can order your food from a preferred restaurant and then it’s up to you if you wish to just walk in and eat at the restaurant, pick up your take away personally OR you can have it delivered to you by a courier for a small amount as 3,90 EUR.

The food which I have ordered came from a Nepalese restaurant Diyalo , it arrived warm, perfectly packed, food was intact and it was a real pleasure of being able to eat delicious food while still being on track with my work and not having to stress about cooking or cleaning all the pots and pants that come with it. 😀
