Good morning to you my dear readers! How has this week been so far for you? I have been working non stop and I do like it a lot, but oh man, does it get though towards the end of the day when my body just “tells me” that it had enough and I get SO tired and fall asleep with the phone in my hands ( yep, Instagram obsessed gal here 😀 ).
For me, it’s very important to start my day properly and never make an excuse or break with this, let’s say ritual. I always start my morning with a hot cup of water and freshly squeezed lemon juice in it. Since I’m working from home + the rest of the day at the restaurant kitchen, I like to treat myself a nice and healthy breakfast or early lunch at some of my favourite cafes/ restaurants in Helsinki.
One place that’s been on the top of my list ever since it opened over two years ago is a cute, little cafe called KUPPI JA MUFFINI! Because of tremendous love and care that two main owners put into this place, it made me come back over and over again while bringing lots of my friends and family with me too.
From the homey and cozy decor to the most wonderful cakes and cupcakes in the city, you can also find the most delicious porridge and soups that vary every day of the week. Also, they have very healthy and so tasty salads and sandwiches, out of which my favourite are their avocado salad and sweet potato – feta cheese – avocado sandwich.
I can wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful little spot for you if you’re ever visiting Helsinki and wanting to treat yourself with reasonably priced, delicious meals and sweets. 🙂
P.S. Not to forget to mention, they also make their own juices, smoothies, bread and they never put any preservatives, GMO and that kind of *rap in anything that they’re offering at their cafe.
