Good Friday morning everybody! I would like to thank you all for the feedback on my previous post. I have read every single comment and some of them were absolutely wonderful because they were honest, insightful and you have opened up/ got engaged in the discussion which was the point of the whole post.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts as well as the advices, they are all very much appreciated! I’m still trying to reply back to everyone, so sorry if it’s taken some time to do that. 🙂
Valentine’s Day! Yep, it’s already here and this Sunday will be an extra sweet one thanks to Valentine’s! 🙂 I have never been the person that gave much attention to this particular day, esp. back to when I was single, it was just a “bad reminder” of everybody being super in love and me not really having roses growing and little hearts popping out of my eyes. 😀
I do understand and like this day much better nowadays, but I still think that it’s been too monetized and blown out of proportion that it looses it’s main point – to celebrate love and give out love! I like the way we celebrate it in Finland. The whole day is more of a “Friend’s Day” rather than a couple’s day.
To love and be loved in return are the biggest blessings one can have in their life, so if you can count even one person that you love and that loves you as much back, you’re a very happy human being! In modern day life, it seems so hard to have a real, deep and pure love towards somebody, be it your friend or partner, but when you do give out this kind of love and if you’re able and open to receive the same, you are a very rich person and you should cherish those feelings and people more than anything. 🙂
